Big Lookout Duty (“the app”) is developed for entertainment. This policy explains what data the app may access and how it is used.
Data we collect
- Game progress — coins, reputation, unlocked regions, equipment, and settings are stored locally on your device (UserDefaults). We do not operate a mandatory account or cloud save in the current version.
- Language preference — your in-app language choice is saved on device.
Device permissions (optional features)
The app may request access only when you use related features:
- Camera — attach field photos to incident reports (if enabled in a future update).
- Microphone — radio dispatch voice notes (if enabled).
- Photo Library — save or export patrol snapshots when you choose to.
Denying permission does not block core single-player observation gameplay.
Third parties
The app is designed to run without third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the current build. If that changes in a future release, this page will be updated before the App Store listing.
Children
The game is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe data was provided in error.
Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.

Bug reports, gameplay questions, or refund requests through Apple:
Include your iOS version, device model, and app version from Settings if possible.
Common topics
- Lost progress? Progress is stored on your device. Reinstalling the app may reset saves unless iCloud backup restores app data.
- Language — open Settings in the main menu and pick your language. The whole app updates instantly.
- Permissions — manage Camera, Microphone, and Photos in iOS Settings → Big Lookout Duty.
- Purchases — upgrades use in-game coins earned during shifts; no real-money IAP in the base design.
